After registering, you will need to login to your account to select a background check company. Once you do, you must complete that background check company’s credentialing process before you can submit a background check request.
This initial setup and credentialing of your business is a one-time process, that needs your immediate attention, as you cannot submit background check requests without it being completed.
Each person you then complete a background check for is given a unique Assigned Background Compliance Number (ABC#). This number is theirs for life.
Their background check is scored against the industry standard, providing an Individual Compliance (IC) level for that person, with levels ranging from IC01 to IC04
At times, the background check company may need to contact you to correct an issue before they can complete a background check. It is your responsibility to communicate with them promptly to avoid delays in background check results.
An added benefit of this system is that your background check result can be shared with additional work providers who use it at no additional cost.
