How to Submit a Contact for a Background Check Renewal
Contacts with a background check expiring within 60 days or less can be submitted for a background check renewal. These contacts will have a flag symbol will display beside them.
If the contact’s background check has expired then the red attention symbol will display beside them .
Note: We recommend renewing at least 30 days before the expiration date.
Step 1: To re-submit a background check, check the box next to the contact name in the contacts list and click Submit for Background Check.
If the contact has the missing information icon displayed beside their name, their contact details needs to be reviewed and all mandatory information must be completed before you can re-submit a background check.
Step 2: Check the ‘Accept the FCRA Agreement’ checkbox and click “Submit”. The SSN and Date of Birth fields are grayed out and you will not have the ability to change these fields, as this is what was submitted the prior year.
Step 3: Your successfully submitted contacts will be listed in the ‘Successful Submissions’ section once completed. For contacts that have not been successfully submitted, the contact will be listed under the ‘Submissions requiring attention’ section and will require your attention
