How to Submit a Contact for a Background Check Renewal
If a contact is within 60 days of their background check expiring, he/she will be listed on the Contacts tab under the Background Check Status column as "Due to Expire - Resubmit" or "Download Documents" depending on what is required from your CRA.
Background Check Renewal
Note: We recommend renewing at least 30 days before the expiration date.
Step 1: To resubmit a background check, click on the applicable link under the Background Check Status column link and proceed to follow the prompts to complete the background check submission.
Note: You can still resubmit an individual for a background check while on the Contacts tab by clicking the checkbox next to the individuals name and then click the "Submit for Background Check" link within the Actions box.
Step 2: Check the "Accept the FCRA Agreement" checkbox and click “Submit”. The SSN and Date of Birth fields are grayed out and you will not have the ability to change these fields, as this is what was submitted the prior year.
Step 3: Your successfully submitted contacts will be listed in the "Successful Submissions" section once completed. For contacts that have not been successfully submitted, the contact will be listed under the "Submissions requiring attention" section and will require your attention.
