Upgrade Subscription Plan
This is a self-service option that can be completed by using a link within the Aspen iRecord® account. (Not applicable for Promotion Code Customers)
If you have selected the Starter subscription plan and later find that you need to purchase multiple background checks or need transfer another contact's background check into your Aspen iRecord® account, you can upgrade to the Growing Business subscription plan.
Important: Your credit card will subsequently be charged a pro-rated Upgrade Fee (a one off payment on the day of the upgrade) calculated at $0.14 per day. This amount is multiplied by the number of days that are left until the account renewal.
If the amount is more than $0.50 the customer is charged right away, if it is less a debit amount is added to the customer's Stripe balance. The balance in Stripe will be applied in the next subscription/renewal charge.
An Annual Subscription Plan Fee of $100.00 will then apply each year commencing on your annual renewal date.
The Manage Subscriptions link can be found by hovering over the Billing link in the upper right corner of the screen and selecting "Manage Subscriptions" from the drop down menu
Once you are on the "Manage Subscriptions" screen, your current Starter subscription plan is highlighted.
Your current subscription plan allows you to purchase and/or manage the background check for ONE contact annually. Upgrade your subscription plan to be allowed to purchase and/or manage background checks for MULTIPLE contacts annually. Click "Select" for the Growing Business subscription plan.
Click "Continue" and you will receive confirmation that the subscription plan has been changed
Upgrade Fees (a one-off payment on the same day of upgrade) are calculated at $4.17 per month or part thereof for the remaining duration of your current subscription.
An Annual Subscription Plan Fee of $100.00 will then apply to each year commencing on your annual renewal date.
Since payment is needed at the time of upgrading the subscription plan, you may be prompted to update your credit card details before you can continue if the current card on file has expired.
If the payment was declined, you will be prompted to enter new payment details and then click "Continue"
You will receive confirmation that the subscription plan has been changed and has been upgraded to a Growing Business, an upgrade fee has been deducted from your credit card and click "Close".
You will receive an email "Aspen iRecord® Subscription Plan Changed" that will reiterate all of the information that you received while going through the upgrade process. I have provided an example below:
If you go back to the "Manage Subscriptions" screen, it will show your new Growing Business subscription plan that allows you to purchase and/or manage the background checks for MULTIPLE contacts annually
Note: Annual Subscription Plan Fees do NOT include the purchase of a background check
