Once a contact is submitted for a background check, their name can no longer be changed or updated within the Aspen iRecord® account.
To change a contact's legal name, please submit a change request to the following:
Email: ifamilysupport@aspengrovesolutions.com
Please ensure you provide the contact's new name and the reason for the name change.
IMPORTANT: Please remember to make this change with the Social Security Administration, not doing so can cause the background check submission to be rejected by the background check company. The legal name would then need to be updated within the Aspen iRecord® account, a new background check would need to be submitted and you would be financially responsible.
