Overview:
The Networks tab allows you to view any Network Owners or Network Members with whom you are currently connected. The Networks tab also lets you add contacts you wish to connect to, or deactivate connections with members you no longer work with.
Networks Pages:
The My Networks page lists all the networks you have chosen to send connection codes to. If you are the network owner, you will see all your Network Members listed on this page.
On the other hand, the Client Networks page is where you will find organizations have sent connection codes to you. The Client Networks page lists all the Network Owners (work providers) that have requested you to connect to them.
Client Networks:
The Client Networks page is where you will use any connection codes you receive from a work provider. If you are a Network Member, Network Owners will send you connection codes to enter here so you can connect to the owner’s network. In the Actions Box on the left-hand side of the page, you will see the option to “Add Connection Code Received.”
My Networks:
The My Networks page is where you will generate connection codes to allow members to connect to your network. If you are a Network Owner, you will add members using the “Add Network Member” link in the Actions Box. As a Network Owner, you can allow the contact to connect to your network by sending them the generated connection code and verification code.
De-Activating Network Connections:
Both Network Owners and Network Members have the option to de-activate a connection. Network Owners will use the My Networks Page, select the network they wish to deactivate, and use the “De-Activate Connection” link in the Actions Box on the left. Network Members will use the Client Networks page, select the network they wish to deactivate, and use the “De-Activate Connection” link in the Actions Box on the left.
How to know when you should be a Network Owner vs. Network member:
Network Owners are typically work providers or management companies. The connection codes they generate offer a one-way view to a contactor or sub-contractor’s Aspen iRecord account.
The “Help” link is available on this page if you require additional assistance.
